Which version am I using?Thumbnail images below show the software and System Tray icons for our 7x, 8x and Mac versions. You can also see the version in the software menu under Help / About.
I am using the mapped drive version, but I can’t see my network drives. Can you help? Issue: To manage mapped drives, the Remote Data Backups software needs to be bound to an administrator’s account that has full rights to access your mapped network drive(s). You will need to move the service from the default "Local System Account" to an account with full administrator’s privileges, and which is password protected. Users on a domain should use a domain administrator account. Note: NAS and SAN devices are not supported, and you may not be able to access data from them. Resolution:
*For windows 2000 the advanced option does not seem to appear & the list of available accounts will appear automatically in the "Select User" dialog box. |
