How do I configure my AOL firewall to work with Remote Data Backups?

You will need to open the AOL firewall, then open the “program control”

Look for “Agent Service Module” and then modify the settings.  Change the setting from “block” to “allow”.

(With some versions of Remote Data Backups may also need to allow full access to "Agent User Interface"  and to "CompoundFileAnalyzer")

Verify the new setting was accepted.

You should now be able to run a backup.
